FedEx Driver Takes His Puppies On Deliveries With Him
Although many dog owners have a chance to spend as much time as possible with their dogs due to the lockdown, some of them are going to work every day, leaving their four-legged companions home alone.
Daniel Nava is a FedEx delivery guy who decided to bring his two puppies, Cocoa and Chorizo to work with him. It turned out that not only the dogs love it, but also many of the people.
He adopted these dogs when they were just 8 weeks old. They aren’t direct siblings, but they love each other very much.
Before the lockdown, Cocoa (2 years old) and Chorizo (2.5 years old), spent their time in dog daycare while Daniel was at work.
When dog daycare closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their owner decided to bring them to work as his assistants to deliver FedEx packages.
The first time he took the puppies with him was on Christmas Eve and afterward, he started bringing them on his deliveries every day.
Before the pandemic, most people would stop to take photos with Cocoa and Chorizo and give them treats.
Daniel’s supervisors didn’t mind him being accompanied by his cute four-legged companions as long as they were all safe on the road.
The most interesting thing is that his dogs adore the constant adventures and so do the people they see on the deliveries.
To make them look more professional, Daniel sewed FedEx outfits for his dogs. He used some worn-out shirts to make miniature FedEx uniforms and ordered miniature sunglasses on Amazon to make them look adorable.
After being emailed that the dog daycare will be reopening soon, Daniel said he may still bring Cocoa and Chorizo to work with him once in a while.
