The 10 Most Important Winnie the Pooh Quotes
The bear that took the world by storm in 2012 was Seth MacFarlane’s Ted, but 86 years before that, Winnie the Pooh made his first appearance in a little book of short stories by A. A. Milne where we were part of his adventures in Ashdown Forest.
Of course, Winnie the Pooh and his companion Christopher Robin, aren’t alone on their journeys. They are accompanied by Eeyore the donkey, Piglet the pig, Kanga, and Roo the kangaroos, Tigger the tiger, and the smart Rabbit. I’m sure there isn’t a child that hasn’t heard about some of these characters.
I have read and re-read the adventures of Winnie the Pooh countless times since I was first introduced to them in first grade. But every time I read them, I discover something new or find new meaning to the things I thought meant something else. It may sound surprising but the book was meant for kids and has brought many hours of fascination to adults across the globe as well.
Even though I’m a long way past my childhood, I can surely say that the adventures of Winnie the Pooh are one of my top favorite books. I always come back to it and its witty quotes that can find their way into every little thing that happens to me in life. For example, when I get a little bit too confident about anything, that one line “One never can tell with bees” comes to mind. When I feel a bit hungry sometimes and go to get some snacks, I always go by Pooh’s saying that two is always better than only one so I will take two snacks instead of one.
